Evaluation
My project turned out so much better than i expected now it is finished. I had no idea it was going to go as well as it did. The day before the assignment had to be handed in all my work got deleted and it took me a while to get it back, but i managed to and got it done pretty good.
Looking back on the assignment brief and all the examples Harry had left for us i think i did a higher standard than i thought. If i had to say what the hardest part was i would say the production, for the sheer fact of changing the whole image and detail into colour. It was reasonable to do but it was very time consuming to get it exactly how you want it to go.
I feel that i could have done tonnes better if we had longer to complete the assignment then we actually did. Coming up with a story like i did wasn't difficult at all because i am a huge horror fan, so i just did a bit of the synopsis research into films, games and books about paranormal horror, and based my game idea of ideas from each of the research things.
I think that task 5 really brought the assignment to the point it looked its best. When working on the production it didn't look too good until i put the final image in the jewel case template. It looked to a real good standard.
If i had to go back and change anything it would be how i used the colour tools on task 4 - production. i feel i rushed that part a little bit so its quite edgy instead of being smooth like i wanted it to be. I also could have put a bit more detail into the walls and pictures in the hallway and to the main attraction, the character. Other than this i am pleased with my outcome in the little time we were given.
I completed everything in the time given with no hold backs apart from other assignments. This one was my main assignment to finish because it was a big assignment and i couldn't afford to waste time.
